Regional Operations Manager - Bharat

About the role

The Regional Operations Manager will lead store operations across the Bharat region, ensuring strong footfall, business growth and compliance with company standards. This role combines strategic planning, competition analysis, franchisee relationship management and team leadership to maximise regional performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop quarterly footfall generation plans for all stores and ensure appropriate support.
• Create store business plans in collaboration with Area Regional Managers (ARMs) and coordinate with head office for execution.
• Analyse competition, identify emerging opportunities or threats and recommend actions.
• Visit potential sites, filter leads, and maintain relationships with regional business development representatives.
• Manage franchisee relationships, resolve conflicts and monitor SOP compliance.
• Monitor merchandising, visual merchandising and store audit reports to identify trends.
• Oversee store operations, cash, stock, cost management and housekeeping compliance.
• Design and monitor new store launch plans, providing hand‑holding for the first three months.
• Track CRM registration rates, analyse consumer behaviour and provide insights to stores.
• Recruit, appraise and motivate ARMs and Store Managers, set weekly sales targets and monthly budgets.
• Define training priorities, prepare modules and maintain a training calendar.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑store operations in a retail environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret competition data and consumer trends.
• Excellent leadership and people‑management skills, including recruitment and performance reviews.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with franchisees and regional stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting, spend control and KPI tracking.
• Willingness to travel across the Bharat region as needed.
