Recruiter – Talent Acquisition for Women Empowerment Project

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Recruiter to join the Women Empowerment Mission Project in Solan. The recruiter will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, helping our mission‑driven teams attract talent that shares our commitment to gender equality and community development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs and draft clear role profiles.
• Source candidates through job boards, social networks, community partners and other channels.
• Conduct initial screenings, interviews and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Support hiring managers in selection decisions and maintain accurate candidate records.
• Produce regular recruitment reports and maintain the applicant tracking system.
• Engage in outreach and networking to build talent pipelines and promote the organization’s mission.
• Ensure a fair, inclusive and transparent selection process.
• Collaborate with program leaders and operations teams to align recruitment with project timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening and interviewing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates, hiring teams and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles, prioritize tasks and keep detailed documentation.
• Understanding of fair hiring practices and commitment to gender‑neutral recruitment.
• Proficiency with basic office software and applicant tracking or recruitment tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Solan and collaborate in a mission‑driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Work or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in social impact, community development or women‑focused initiatives is an advantage.
