Receptionist – Service Center (Škoda Cars)

About the role

The Receptionist at the Škoda Service Center will be the first point of contact for customers visiting Gurudev Motors in Chennai. This full‑time, on‑site position involves managing the front desk, handling phone calls and ensuring a smooth experience for service‑center visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors with a professional and courteous attitude.
• Answer, direct and log incoming and outgoing phone calls.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate with service advisors and technicians.
• Maintain visitor and customer records, perform data entry and filing tasks.
• Provide information about services and respond to customer inquiries.
• Support check‑in and check‑out processes for service‑center clients.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in administration is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a receptionist or customer‑facing role, preferably in an automotive or service‑center environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to stay calm, organized and detail‑oriented in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in English and local languages, neat appearance and punctuality.
