React.js Engineer – Build Scalable Web Apps

About the role

Shuru is seeking a skilled React.js Engineer to design and deliver high‑quality, scalable web applications. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to turn requirements into polished user experiences while leveraging modern frontend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, high‑performance web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Create clean, reusable, and maintainable UI components.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as third‑party services.
• Implement server‑side rendering, static site generation, routing, middleware, and API routes with Next.js.
• Optimize applications for speed, SEO, accessibility, and overall performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing frontend systems.
• Write well‑structured code with appropriate testing and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Utilize AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with state‑management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, React Query, or Context API.
• Proven ability to optimize frontend performance and implement responsive design.
• Familiarity with API integration and backend collaboration.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, cookies, sessions, and basic frontend security.
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment platforms like Vercel, AWS, or Netlify.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and an ownership mindset.
