R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff, Product Test

About the role

Join AVEVA's R&D team in Bangalore to lead testing of cloud‑hosted industrial software. You will work closely with product owners, developers and DevOps engineers to ensure high‑quality releases for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test plans, cases, data and automation suites for cloud‑based products.
• Validate deployments across environments, ensuring release readiness for new features, bug fixes and platform upgrades.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Collaborate with support and field teams to reproduce and resolve customer‑reported issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, QA or validation engineering, preferably with enterprise cloud solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across development, product, DevOps and support teams.

Required skills

• Testing cloud‑native applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Azure DevOps, Test Plans, CI/CD pipelines, release validation.
• Automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, NUnit, C#.
• REST API, microservices testing, Postman or equivalent.
• PowerShell, scripting and test environment automation.
• Knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault).
