R&D Member of Technical Staff – II

About the role

Join AVEVA's global R&D team to design, develop, and deliver cloud‑based industrial software solutions. You will work closely with product owners, Scrum teams, and customers to build high‑quality, secure applications that drive impact across the energy and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owner, stakeholders, and Scrum Team to define, design, and implement software solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot customer‑reported issues with Support, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution.
• Write maintainable, scalable code with unit tests, documentation, and security validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and product quality.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented design, design patterns, and cybersecurity principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site collaboration and remote work.
