About the role
The RCM Rejection Associate II handles complex claim rejection cases, conducting in‑depth analysis and investigation to improve revenue cycle efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Handle complex rejection cases requiring detailed analysis.
- Collaborate with billing specialists and healthcare providers to address systemic issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce claim rejection rates.
- Provide training and guidance to Level 1 associates on complex rejections.
- Participate in cross‑functional teams to discuss process improvements and best practices.
Required profile
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience identifying root causes of claim rejection and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with advanced features of billing software.
- Experience using analytical tools for data interpretation.
