R2R / General Ledger Accountant

About the role

An experienced R2R/General Ledger Accountant is sought to manage month-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with accounting principles and internal controls while meeting strict deadlines. It is based in Gurgaon on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing and prepare journal entries
• Carry out balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls
• Meet strict month-end closing deadlines

Required profile

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in R2R, General Ledger or Financial Accounting
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing and journal entries
• Experience in balance sheet account reconciliations
• Knowledge of accruals, provisions and financial reporting
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification (completed or pursuing) preferred

Required skills

• MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Preferred: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
• Preferred: exposure to SOX controls and audit processes, shared services or multinational experience, intercompany accounting and fixed assets
