Forensic Consultant (FIDS) - Investigations & Compliance

About the role

EY is looking for a Consultant in Forensic Investigations and Compliance (FIDS) based in Gurugram. The consultant executes or leads client engagements covering financial fraud investigations, FCPA and UK Bribery Act compliance reviews, fraud risk assessments and dispute resolution support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client engagements to quality standards set out in the engagement letter, in line with the firm's risk management strategies and plans
• Identify areas for improvement in the client's business processes and prepare recommendations
• Review working papers and client folders
• Suggest ways to improve engagement productivity and client service
• Manage engagement budgets and support superiors with marketing collateral, business proposals and new solutions or methodologies
• Contribute to teamwork, knowledge sharing and process improvement within the team

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, MBA, Certified Fraud Examiner or LLB
• 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in forensic investigation, risk advisory, internal audits, process diagnostics reviews or allied areas
• Experience with Big Four or Tier 2 firms and large corporate internal audit teams is preferred
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal skills, report writing and client business acumen
