Quantity Surveyor – Projects & Contracts

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support the Projects / Contracts & Billing team by delivering accurate quantity estimations, cost control, and billing for slope stabilization and related civil works. You will work closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure measurements, costs, and contracts are managed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Verify site measurements, maintain records, and produce reconciliation statements.
• Generate client and subcontractor bills, monitor budget utilization, and track material consumption.
• Conduct rate analysis, prepare BOQs and cost comparison statements.
• Assist in contract administration, variation claims, and extra‑item assessments.
• Review work progress, support project planning, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years of experience.
• Proven experience in slope stabilization, soil nailing, rock anchoring, gabion structures, and retaining structures.
• Hands‑on experience with quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, and rate analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with quantity estimation software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
