Quality PTM Engineer / Senior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality PTM Engineer (or Senior Engineer) to lead quality management within project sets, ensuring customer and Valeo quality and cost targets are met. The role involves monitoring the quality roadmap, managing risks from cradle to grave, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage quality in the project set and monitor the Quality Roadmap to achieve customer and Valeo quality and cost targets.
• Define the quality cost of the project and follow up on customer milestones.
• Detect risks, prevent problems from cradle to grave, react to identified risks and escalate roadblocks to management.
• Ensure CPM compliance and respect of built‑in quality standards such as SPPC tracking, identification and transfer procedures.
• Challenge other PTM activities and focus on design & change management.
• Incorporate product and process novelties into DFMEA, PFMEA, DV&PV and verify LLC usage to reduce RPN.
• After design freeze, enforce the 4M matrix for product/process changes and obtain customer approval.
• Update quality documents after product or process changes.
• Participate in design reviews with suppliers and tool makers.
• Revise the control plan after issues or test results and support supplier management activities.
• Collect supplier‑encountered issues, propose best practices and ensure timely validation of Initial Samples.
• Define prototype, pre‑serial and serial control plans and ensure consistency between SPPC, FMEA and control plan.
• Participate in pre‑FDPR and FDPR, prepare internal and customer deliverables, and apply QRQC rules.
• Maintain a single list of issues, manage QRQC processes and initiate VIM incidents for DV or PV test failures.
