Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

PEP, the parent company of mCaffeine and Hyphen, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead compliance and quality initiatives for its personal‑care product lines. The role ensures that all cosmetics are manufactured, tested, packed, and dispatched in line with GMP, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Cosmetic GMP (ISO 22716) and internal quality systems.
• Monitor manufacturing and packing activities, approve line clearance, and review Batch Manufacturing and Packing Records.
• Implement Good Documentation Practices and maintain accurate quality records.
• Conduct in‑process inspections, verify parameters such as temperature, pH, viscosity, weight, and labeling.
• Review QC test reports, coordinate product release, and manage retention and stability samples.
• Investigate deviations, complaints, and product defects using root‑cause tools (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram).
• Develop, implement, and track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Train production, packing, and warehouse staff on GMP, hygiene, SOPs, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspection and approval of incoming raw and packaging materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within cosmetics or personal‑care manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, and documentation best practices.
• Ability to lead investigations, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive CAPA implementation.
