QNX / Linux Expert

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned QNX and Linux expert to join our embedded systems team in Coimbatore. You will work on cutting‑edge automotive platforms, driving the development and integration of real‑time operating systems and hypervisor technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain QNX Neutrino RTOS and Linux based software stacks.
• Perform board bring‑up on NXP, Qualcomm, TI, Renesas, NVIDIA and ARM‑based SoCs.
• Create and customize bootloaders such as U‑Boot and QNX IPL.
• Develop kernel modules, device drivers, and BSPs, including Device Tree configurations.
• Port operating systems and integrate Yocto/BSP layers for Linux builds.
• Implement hypervisor solutions (QNX Hypervisor, Xen, Jailhouse) and support virtualization in real‑time environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams, ensuring documentation and compliance with functional safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in automotive or safety‑critical domains is preferred.
