QA Automation Manager – Data & Analytics

About the role

PWC is looking for a QA Automation Manager to lead data‑quality assurance for its Data, Analytics & Advisory practice in Bengaluru. You will own test strategy, automation framework design and delivery for data‑intensive systems, ensuring reliable, accurate data for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead test strategies for data‑intensive systems, aligning with quality and compliance goals.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Guide a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation, data validation, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with engineering, data and business teams in Agile environments to ensure quality across the development lifecycle.
• Report QA metrics and provide risk‑based recommendations for release readiness.
• Stay current with testing trends, including AI‑powered automation tools.

Required profile

• 6+ years of production experience building automation frameworks, specifically with Playwright.
• Strong background in ETL testing, data quality, and SQL.
• Experience with ETL tools and test automation using Python.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Comfort working in Agile delivery teams and communicating risk‑based insights.
