Senior Associate – Snowflake Data Analytics (Advisory)

About the role

At PwC, Senior Associates in the Advisory practice help clients unlock value from data by designing and delivering Snowflake‑based analytics solutions. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, modelling data, and ensuring secure, high‑performance data warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data models and schemas within Snowflake.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Python or Snowpark.
• Monitor and tune data warehouse performance, storage, and query costs.
• Implement data security and governance controls such as RBAC, data masking and row‑level security.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third‑party ETL/ELT tools like dbt, Airflow or Matillion.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in data engineering or Snowflake development.
• Strong understanding of cloud data warehousing concepts and ELT pipelines.
• Ability to work with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Snowflake SQL, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Snowpark.
• Python programming.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Matillion.
• Data modelling and architecture.
