Python Engineer – Ansible Automation

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer with hands‑on experience in Ansible automation, REST API development/integration, and scripting for enterprise applications. The role involves developing automation solutions, integrating systems, building scalable APIs, and supporting infrastructure automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based applications and automation frameworks.
• Create and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows for infrastructure and application deployment.
• Develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Development teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, integrations, and application performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• API authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, Basic Auth).
• Data formats: JSON, YAML, XML.
• Version control with Git, GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Monitoring tools including Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
