Project Sales Officer (Construction Projects)

About the role

A Project Sales Officer drives business growth by securing commercial, residential or industrial construction and supply projects. The role identifies new construction sites, builds relationships with builders, architects, contractors and consultants, and converts leads into confirmed orders. One position is open in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, index and evaluate new construction or renovation project sites within the assigned territory.
• Meet regularly with builders, contractors, architects, interior designers, government departments and fabricators to pitch product applications and technical solutions.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare budgetary quotations, submit technical samples and proposals, and negotiate contract terms.
• Coordinate with internal supply chain, logistics and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and proper installation.
• Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, contractors and channel partners.
• Track project milestones and help finance teams collect payments on time.
• Monitor competitors, pricing trends and regional developments, and submit regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a relevant technical/engineering field; MBA is a strong advantage.
• 1 to 5 years of B2B or project-based sales experience, ideally in building materials, cement, RMC, paints, steel or tiles.
• Experience of 5 to 8 years is listed in the job summary.

Required skills

• Ability to read basic architectural and site drawings and understand product specifications.
• Use of CRM software.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
