Project Manager – Pumps Business Line

About the role

Metso is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects within its Pumps Business Line in Alwar. You will be the central point of contact for internal teams, customers, and market representatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Metso policies, processes, QEHS standards and project governance.
• Lead the core project team, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to execute assignments effectively.
• Organise and allocate project resources, coaching team members and promoting teamwork.
• Review and acknowledge contracts/orders, understand conditions, and support negotiation of revisions.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, controlling scope, schedule, cost, risks, documentation and customer commitments.
• Control baseline scope, schedule and budget, handling change requests to avoid overruns.
• Verify project quality requirements and ensure compliance through coordination with relevant functions.
• Collaborate with proposal, engineering, QA/QC, procurement, production, logistics and factory teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor adherence to technical specifications, contractual obligations and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to closure.
• Familiarity with Metso’s policies, processes and QEHS standards.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Strong understanding of contract conditions and project governance.
