Project Manager – Liquidity Reporting & Regulatory Programs

About the role

KPMG India is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead initiatives focused on liquidity reporting, data validation, and regulatory programs. The role will coordinate cross‑functional teams across Finance, Technology, and Data to ensure timely and accurate delivery of regulatory deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for liquidity regulatory reporting (LCR, NSFR, ILAAP, Asset Encumbrance, AMM).
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones and track progress, risks, dependencies.
• Serve as central coordination point between Finance, Data, Technology and regional teams (US, UK, APAC).
• Communicate updates, risks and decisions to senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead data quality, reconciliation and validation initiatives to support regulatory reporting.
• Establish governance frameworks, prepare steering committee decks, MIS, KPIs and status reports.
• Identify process optimisation opportunities and drive system enhancements and automation.

Required profile

• Strong experience in project management, PMO or business transformation roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects in a regulated finance environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight regulatory timelines.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of liquidity regulatory frameworks (LCR, NSFR, ILAAP, etc.).
