Project Manager – Distillery/Brewery/Industrial Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of distillery, brewery, ethanol, food‑processing and other industrial projects in Assam. The role involves full ownership of project delivery from planning through commissioning and hand‑over, working closely with management, consultants, contractors and plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial planning and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements and execution strategies.
• Monitor progress against schedule, scope, cost, quality and safety targets; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utility, process and structural activities on site.
• Supervise installation, erection, testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and trial‑run activities.
• Manage project engineers, supervisors, technicians, contractors and support teams; conduct regular coordination meetings.
• Work with procurement to source materials and equipment; monitor vendor commitments, deliveries and technical compliance.
• Control project expenditure, ensure quality standards and enforce safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing industrial projects in distillery, brewery, ethanol, food‑processing or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and handle complex vendor and contractor relationships.
• Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Excellent risk management, budgeting and schedule control skills.
