Project Management Strategy & Governance Manager – Advisory

About the role

PWC is seeking a seasoned manager to lead project management, strategy and governance initiatives within its Advisory practice in Bangalore. The role combines cyber‑risk expertise with end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale programmes, supporting clients to strengthen their digital resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large‑scale, multi‑team projects and coordinate with project teams to capture requirements and define execution plans.
• Prepare project governance artefacts, resource plans and ensure proper implementation across multiple initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, vendor and risk management for programmes with budgets exceeding 2 million.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle (Plan → Design → Build → Test → Deploy) for application development projects.
• Lead change and business‑as‑usual (BAU) project management, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and senior leaders of reputed organisations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience with dedicated program/portfolio management exposure.
• Strong communication skills and a solid educational background.
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on application development experience.
• Proven track record in managing BAU projects, change initiatives and end‑to‑end project delivery.
• Experience handling budgeting, forecasting, vendor and risk management.
• Understanding and practical experience of the complete SDLC.
• Experience working with global stakeholders for large, reputable companies.
