Project Engineer – Mumbai Career Fair (Aug 1-2)

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team for the Mumbai Career Fair on 1‑2 August. The role involves planning and executing project scopes across global business units, ensuring successful delivery of capital projects in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify project requirements and develop Project Management System deliverables.
• Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Oversee engineering, execution planning, procurement, system completion and start‑up activities.
• Steward contractor performance, align stakeholders and engage internal discipline experts.
• Coordinate issue identification and resolution, ensuring smooth transitions between project stages and sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (CGPA ≥ 6.5).
• Minimum 3 years of experience executing capital projects, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, construction or fertilizer industries.
• Diverse experience across engineering, procurement, construction, project management or controls.
• Exposure to at least two of: engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, brownfield execution, turnarounds, offshore installation, international assignments.
• Strong leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
