Program Coordinator – Urban Health Surveillance (Nagpur)

About the role

PATH, a global nonprofit focused on health equity, is seeking a Program Coordinator to support urban and peri‑urban disease surveillance strengthening activities in Nagpur. Working under the Program Officer (Urban Health) and the City Lead – Surveillance, the coordinator will manage day‑to‑day field operations, ensure timely execution of activities, and act as a liaison with local health facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of surveillance activities in urban and peri‑urban areas, following guidance from the Program Officer and City Lead.
• Coordinate field visits, supportive supervision schedules, and follow‑up actions with health facilities and surveillance units.
• Provide operational support for GIS data collection, including facility geo‑tagging and location‑based updates.
• Assist with verification of IHIP reporting, document quality aspects, and compile observations for review.
• Support facility‑based supply‑chain assessments using standardized tools.
• Facilitate logistics and coordination for trainings, workshops, supervision visits, and other program events.

Required profile

• Willingness to conduct regular visits to urban and peri‑urban primary healthcare facilities.
• Ability to coordinate with city‑level health systems and frontline health functionaries.
• Experience in supporting field‑level health program activities.
