About the role

Saab is expanding its operations in India and seeks a reliable driver to support daily transportation needs at its Jhajjar facility. You will ensure safe, punctual movement of employees, documents, and materials while upholding the company’s high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Transport staff, executives, expatriates, and goods to designated locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain accurate trip and fuel records.
• Use GPS and navigation tools to plan optimal routes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Valid and current driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• 7‑10 years of proven experience as a professional/company driver.
• Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic conditions in the Jhajjar area.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and make responsible decisions while driving.
• Physical fitness and flexibility to work varied hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS/navigation applications (e.g., Google Maps).
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to conduct daily checks.
