Production Supervisor

About the role

A proactive and result-oriented Production Supervisor is sought to oversee daily production activities, keep plant operations running smoothly, maintain quality standards and lead shop-floor teams. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing or chemical production environments and strong team management skills. The position is full time, based in Kota.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production and ensure production targets are met.
• Manage production operators, technicians and shop-floor staff.
• Monitor processes and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain production records, reports and shift-wise documentation.
• Ensure optimum use of manpower, machinery and raw materials.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse departments.
• Track work-in-progress, resolve production issues and conduct safety briefings.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the production area.
• Track production efficiency, recommend improvements and assist in production trials, new product development and process optimization.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports and help monitor consumables and equipment inventory.

Required profile

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, polymer or process industries.
• Experience handling production teams and shift operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, SOPs, GMP, safety standards and quality systems.
• Team leadership and good communication and coordination.
• Basic production planning and inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
