Production Officer

About the role

Nestlé is seeking a Production Officer to drive efficient manufacturing operations at its Goa facility. You will be responsible for executing production plans, ensuring optimal use of resources, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production schedules and maximize utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor manufacturing, filling, and packing processes to meet targets while upholding quality and safety.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, shutdowns, and cleaning (CIP) to keep operations uninterrupted.
• Track production performance, material consumption, and operational costs using available tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity and process performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on trials, new product development, technical projects, and audits.
• Train, coach, and mentor shop‑floor staff to foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of experience in food, dairy, or related manufacturing environments.
• B.Tech in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Production.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
