Production Manager

About the role

As a Production Manager at JRD Fibre, you will lead the manufacturing operations of FRP and ARP rods, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality products. You will oversee the entire production process, manage a team of professionals and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all stages of production to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Lead, coach and develop production staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Develop production plans and schedules aligned with customer orders and resource availability.
• Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to meet product standards.
• Allocate manpower, machinery and materials effectively to meet targets while controlling costs.
• Identify and execute process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing excess.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare production reports, analyse metrics and provide updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
