Production Manager

About the role

Maxima Apparel is redesigning its direct‑to‑customer (DTC) production process. The company seeks a Production Manager to build a scalable management system that replaces ad‑hoc spreadsheets and manual coordination with structured calendars, material plans, dashboards, SOPs and clear escalation paths.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a master production calendar aligned with launch dates, assortment plans and channel timelines.
• Develop material readiness plans to shift from reactive procurement to forecast‑based availability.
• Implement work‑in‑process (WIP) tracking and capacity monitoring across internal and partner facilities.
• Own the accuracy of production data in PLM and ERP systems, ensuring reliable styles, BOMs, orders and receipts.
• Document current workflows, write SOPs and define escalation procedures.
• Create and maintain production dashboards and exception reports that surface at‑risk orders, material shortfalls and capacity conflicts.
• Define, track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for production readiness and execution.
• Manage production execution across multiple DTC channels, supporting fast‑lead‑time fulfillment.

Required profile

• Comfortable turning ambiguous situations into repeatable, documented processes.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end manufacturing readiness and execution.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders without relying on a single individual.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PLM and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, data consolidation).
• Dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Capacity forecasting and material planning.
