Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, optimise raw material usage, improve yields, reduce energy consumption and support new product and packaging launches. The role works closely with maintenance, CTS, product development, marketing and other plant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute improvement trials targeting higher throughput, better yields, lower energy use and new product introductions.
• Develop and implement Energy Efficiency Designs (EEDs) for plant, upstream and downstream units in coordination with CTS and maintenance.
• Track leading and lagging safety indicators, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive root‑cause analysis for repetitive process deviations and maintenance failures.
• Oversee operation of chiller systems, cooling towers, thermal heaters, de‑mineralised and de‑ionised water generation packages.
• Manage distillation processes, including columns with re‑boilers, vaporizers and multistage gas compression.
• Supervise batch preparation, product storage, loading/unloading and safe handling of hazardous and toxic chemicals.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (B.E.) with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a Diploma in Engineering with at least 13 years of relevant experience.
