Production Manager – Footwear Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Production Manager to lead the end‑to‑end manufacturing of kids’ footwear at our Bahadurgarh plant. The role is full‑time, on‑site and responsible for meeting daily production targets while ensuring quality, safety and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production runs in coordination with design, procurement and quality teams.
• Monitor shop‑floor workflow, track material usage and manage production‑related inventory.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, equipment issues and any deviations from schedule.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate production staff, fostering a collaborative work culture.
• Ensure compliance with quality control processes, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, 5S and waste reduction.
• Prepare and analyse production reports, KPIs and basic data to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production management or factory operations, preferably in footwear, apparel or related manufacturing.
• Strong ability to plan, schedule and allocate resources to meet daily and weekly output targets.
• Knowledge of quality control, safety standards and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience mentoring shop‑floor teams and resolving operational issues.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Footwear Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S or other continuous‑improvement methodologies (advantage).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bahadurgarh in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented setting.
