Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will be responsible for the technical execution and monitoring of the manufacturing line in Udaipur. The role ensures that production targets are met through efficient machine utilization, strict adherence to technical drawings, and rigorous quality control on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the daily production plan, ensuring sensors, heaters, and cables are manufactured on schedule.
• Monitor assembly and calibration processes, keeping temperature, resistance, and insulation within tolerance limits.
• Supervise operators and technicians, providing technical guidance for accurate assembly.
• Conduct first‑piece inspections and routine quality checks to prevent defective batch production.
• Coordinate material requisition with stores to guarantee timely availability of raw materials.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintain production equipment within safety and performance limits.
• Implement 5S practices and enforce safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Record production data, rejection counts, and shift outputs accurately in logbooks or ERP systems.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in instrumentation or electrical engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials.
• Familiarity with soldering, basic electrical testing, and precision measurement tools.
