Production Associate – Livestock Tag Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Associate (Operator) runs molding, printing and assembly machines to produce livestock identification tags in line with SOPs and quality standards. You will ensure smooth shift handovers, maintain 5S standards, and meet hourly production targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Take comprehensive handover from the previous shift, reviewing productivity, safety, quality and breakdown issues.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and complete the Operator Check Sheet at shift start.
• Prepare and execute material, mold, fixture and font changeovers in coordination with supervisors.
• Program machines for each product model and obtain initial quality clearance before production.
• Perform autonomous maintenance (C‑L‑I‑T) and collaborate with maintenance for quick breakdown resolution.
• Log hourly output, rejections, breakdowns and other production data.
• Achieve shift production targets, conduct initial inspections, and prepare tags for packing.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures and report issues to supervisors or EHS officers.
• Train new employees through a buddy system and support other zones as needed.

Required profile

• ITI qualification.
• 0‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing or CNC environment.
