Product Manager II – Personalisation

About the role

Nykaa is seeking a Product Manager II to lead the personalisation features that power its discovery and recommendation engines. Based in Bangalore, you will work at the intersection of user behaviour, fashion trends and machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Translate high‑level objectives into detailed product requirement documents, technical specifications and model requirements in collaboration with Data Science and Engineering.
• Partner with data‑science pods to refine ranking algorithms, collaborative‑filtering and computer‑vision attributes to enhance recommendation relevance.
• Conduct market and technical research on global fashion‑tech and ML‑driven commerce models to identify innovation opportunities.
• Design and operate a rapid A/B testing pipeline, analyse results and assess production readiness of new algorithms.
• Coordinate with Category, Design and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of data‑driven features into the Nykaa Fashion UI/UX.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier‑1 institution with a strong analytical or technical foundation.
• Hands‑on experience collaborating with Data Science teams and discussing model performance, data pipelines and API integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, using data to inform product decisions and measure performance.
• Customer‑centric product thinking with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical complexity and business impact.
