Product Manager – Construction & Roofing

About the role

The Product Manager will lead the full product lifecycle for roofing and cladding solutions, driving market research, product planning, and launch activities. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver products that enhance customer experience and increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Follow stage‑gate and ISO procedures for new product development.
• Perform product line rationalization to identify market gaps or redundancies.
• Manage product SKUs, technical data sheets, website content, and product pages.
• Conduct Voice of the Customer interviews and translate feedback into innovation.
• Monitor industry codes, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Provide expert advice to sales, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
• Lead development of project profiles and prioritize marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and marketing to ensure product alignment and create educational tools.
• Support sales presentations, trade shows, and training for new products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial construction product management, preferably roofing or cladding.
• High school diploma required; post‑secondary degree in engineering, science, construction or architecture preferred.
• Ability to read and speak Canadian French and hold a valid passport.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial roof system applications, International Building Code and National Building Code of Canada.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑oriented, able to work independently and within teams.
• Willingness to travel and drive as required.
