Principal IT Systems Engineer - DevOps LDAP Services

About the role

NXP is looking for a Principal IT Systems Engineer (DevOps) for its R&D Access Management team in Noida. The role drives automation and innovation by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and managing access management tools such as LDAP and PAM, while exploring new tools and AI concepts. It is described as a 50% development and 50% operations mix, covering all phases from design to testing and bug fixing.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the Oracle Unified Directory/LDAP solution.
• Build and manage the Privilege Access Management solution.
• Build and maintain a self-service platform built on Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that deploy changes quickly.
• Own automation and configuration management within R&D Access Management.
• Develop and maintain platform components for data access, policy enforcement and governance.
• Advise the organization on improving automation and help execute it.
• Take part in defining and maintaining a secure access policy.
• Work with developers, operations staff and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with practical experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 12+ years of experience in DevOps implementations and operations.
• Solid DevOps mindset, able to evaluate and optimize processes using Lean or Agile.
• Team player who values collaboration.

Required skills

• Very good understanding of LDAP, preferably Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), PAM and other IAM concepts.
• Deep understanding of Linux, networking and server management, with PowerShell, Bash and Ansible.
• Understanding of identity and access management (provisioning, access control, certifications).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes or Terraform.
