About the role

The Principal Financial Analyst leads critical business initiatives and oversees finance analysts across multiple sub‑functions, geographies, and organizations. This senior position drives financial management through complex analysis, reporting, and reconciliation of operational results while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and advise on high‑impact business initiatives, managing a team of analysts across finance sub‑functions and regions.
• Support capital strategy execution to maximize return on investment for the global organization.
• Perform highly complex financial analysis, leveraging deep business knowledge to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to influence long‑term strategic decisions.
• Drive process improvements and develop global policies affecting the finance function.
• Provide counsel on controls, budgeting, planning, ROI decisions, and overall business strategy.
• Represent the business unit in cross‑regional and cross‑functional planning processes.
• Mentor lower‑level employees to ensure successful implementation of operational and strategic plans.

Required profile

• Four‑year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
