Junior Finance Controller

About the role

Candi is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Finance Controller to join its growing finance team in Bengaluru. The role will support core finance functions, ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements, and help scale the company’s solar business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities including GL postings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank entries and expense accounting.
• Prepare and process journal entries, perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, and maintain fixed‑asset and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS and other statutory filings, support payroll accounting and ROC compliance.
• Perform bank, vendor and customer reconciliations, maintain audit documentation and internal controls.
• Assist with statutory, internal and tax audits and prepare management reports and MIS.
• Support working‑capital management by tracking receivables, payables and cash‑flow data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred).
• 4–6 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment with strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or MS Dynamics.
• Advanced MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
