Principal Architect – Architecture

About the role

The Enterprise Capabilities team at AECOM is seeking a Principal Architect to join the Bangalore/Gurugram office. You will lead architectural design efforts, ensure quality of drawings, and mentor junior staff while contributing to innovative methods.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
• Performing advanced technical assignments independently under the Supervising Architect’s direction.
• Coordinating technical and administrative activities across disciplines and departments.
• Assisting in training and evaluation of architectural and design/drafting personnel.
• Reviewing and approving conceptual designs and contributing to new architectural methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10‑13 years of architectural experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to see the bigger picture and take a bird’s‑eye view of projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in MicroStation.
