PR & Communications Lead

About the role

We are looking for a PR & Communications Lead to shape and protect the brand and leadership reputation of a fast‑growing D2C company. You will work directly with the founders and senior leadership, overseeing media relations, influencer collaborations and online reputation management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute founder and leadership profiling across media, LinkedIn, podcasts and panels.
• Manage media relations, press releases, corporate announcements and brand narratives tied to product launches and milestones.
• Oversee online reputation across platforms such as Glassdoor, Google, Quora, Reddit and Trustpilot.
• Lead crisis communication and third‑party seeding when required.
• Coordinate PR agency and influencer collaborations, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
• Track media coverage, analyse PR impact and produce performance reports.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications or media relations, preferably in D2C, consumer or startup environments.
• Proven track record managing founder/leadership profiling and media engagement.
• Strong relationships with journalists and familiarity with media monitoring tools.
• Experience overseeing PR and influencer agencies.
• Excellent writing skills for press releases and corporate narratives.
• Calm, structured approach to crisis and reputation management.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a fast‑paced setting.
