Plant Controller – Finance Leadership Role

About the role

The Plant Controller will lead financial planning and performance management for Danfoss Power Solutions' Pune plant, supporting multiple Strategic Business Units. This senior finance position drives profitability, ensures compliance, and provides actionable insights for both short‑term actions and long‑term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain profit plans, strategic plans, monthly forecasts and variance analyses.
• Analyze financial forecasts, operating results, capital investment requests and product costing to recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, GAAP, SOX, statutory requirements and internal audit standards.
• Collaborate with Global BU Controllers, Shared Service Centers and operations leadership to protect assets and guide financial decisions.
• Drive cost‑control, productivity, gross utilization, inventory controls and continuous‑improvement initiatives such as EBE, MESH and ELSS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Excellent analytical, costing and financial modeling capabilities.
