Pharmacy Supervisor – Bardez, Goa

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead our pharmacy operations in Bardez, Goa. The role ensures high‑quality patient care, efficient inventory management and compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care while maintaining pharmacy quality standards.
• Control inventory levels, ordering processes and storage methods to minimise expiries and stay within budget.
• Establish billing and pricing structures for pharmaceuticals, subject to hospital approval.
• Negotiate drug purchase contracts to control costs.
• Dispense medications with clear instructions, correct labeling and appropriate patient education.
• Liaise with nursing and medical staff regarding prescriptions, drug reactions, errors and complaints.
• Plan, organise and supervise all pharmacy activities in line with hospital policies, good pharmaceutical practice and legislation.
• Maintain departmental policies, quality‑assurance programmes, safety and injection‑control standards.
• Ensure secure storage of narcotics and other controlled substances.
• Conduct regular stock‑taking, drug audits and ensure compliance with the Dangerous Drug Act and Psychotropic Substances Regulations.
• Investigate medication‑error incidents, patient complaints and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly reports on receipts, revenue and other required metrics for the accounts department.

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Adherence to specified dress code and ID card requirements.
• Ability to work according to scheduled duty hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software.
• Strong inventory management and stock‑control capabilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including the Dangerous Drug Act and Psychotropic Substances Regulations.
