Pharmacist – Public Health (Onsite, Anekal)

About the role

One Billion Lives Foundation is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join its Public Health team in Anekal, Bengaluru. The role involves dispensing medicines, managing pharmacy inventory, and supporting community health initiatives across OBLF clinics and outreach programs.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medicines and provide basic counselling on dosage, storage, and adherence.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, monitor expiry dates, and prepare monthly procurement indent.
• Document medicines dispensed and generate daily, weekly, and monthly pharmacy reports.
• Participate in mobile clinics, health camps, and community outreach activities, assisting healthcare teams as needed.
• Ensure pharmacy cleanliness, follow drug storage and safety guidelines, and support audit and monitoring visits.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Registered with the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council.
• Fluency in English; Kannada proficiency preferred.
• Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate with diverse teams.
