About the role

Sugam Hospital is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its on‑site pharmacy team in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The role involves accurate dispensing of medicines, patient counseling, and close collaboration with medical staff to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medicines accurately and verify dosages.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, sales, and cash transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels, check expiration dates, and place re‑orders as needed.
• Communicate stock shortages promptly to the Chief Doctor.
• Ensure the pharmacy is organized, clean, and complies with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm).
• Valid registration as a pharmacist.
• Strong knowledge of medicines, prescription handling, and drug interactions.
• Basic accounting and cash‑handling abilities.
• Excellent organizational and record‑keeping skills.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented.
