Packaging Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join our new factory in Khopoli. You will be responsible for running packaging equipment efficiently while maintaining product quality and adhering to food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machines such as form‑fill‑seal, pouch packing, and flow‑wrap.
• Set up machines for different SKUs, pack sizes, and formats.
• Ensure correct usage of packaging materials (films, laminates, cartons, labels).
• Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Maintain production targets and minimise waste.
• Ensure proper sealing, coding, and batch accuracy in line with compliance norms.
• Keep the work area clean and hygienic according to FSSAI and company standards.
• Record daily production data, machine logs, and downtime reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for inspections and issue resolution.
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in FMCG or food‑packaging operations.
• Ability to work in shifts and high‑speed production environments.
• Attention to detail and a quality‑oriented mindset.
