Operator III

About the role

We are seeking an Operator III to join our production team at Sibelco’s Balanagar facility. The role ensures that plant installations operate smoothly and that semi‑finished products meet quality specifications. You will work closely with maintenance and logistics staff to keep production flowing efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and adjust installations according to established procedures, including serving pumps and managing taps.
• Monitor alerts, perform quality checks, and record production data in the IT system.
• Identify and address non‑conformities throughout the process to ensure product quality.
• Control production output and assist with auxiliary tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Carry out minor maintenance activities and support technicians and electricians during larger maintenance jobs.
• Collaborate with weighbridge and bagging operators to maintain continuous production.
• Ensure proper use and care of personal protective equipment in line with safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in a similar operational role.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical English documentation.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Technical English (reading comprehension).
