Operations Staff – Inbound/Outbound Shift

About the role

The Operations Staff member is the on‑ground face of Blue Dart, responsible for ensuring timely pickup and delivery of customer shipments within an assigned territory. The role supports both inbound and outbound shifts, handling collections, deliveries, COD processing and proof‑of‑delivery compliance while upholding safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver shipments on schedule, adhering to Blue Dart’s operational procedures.
• Accurately scan shipments and update tracking information in real time.
• Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) collections and ensure proper documentation.
• Obtain and verify proof of delivery (POD) for all consignments.
• Coordinate with the Shift In‑charge and branch operations team to meet service commitments.
• Maintain safe handling of parcels and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Report any operational issues or exceptions promptly.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible shift timings, including inbound or outbound shifts as required.
• Good communication skills in English and local language.
• Physical stamina to handle parcels and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Operating handheld scanning devices for shipment tracking.
