Operations Staff – Shift In-charge (Inbound/Outbound)

About the role

The Operations Staff member supports the Inbound or Outbound Shift In‑charge in ensuring that customer shipments are picked up and delivered on time within the assigned territory. Acting as the face of Blue Dart on the ground, the role combines safe handling of parcels with a strong focus on customer experience and brand professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver shipments according to schedule, maintaining the promised service commitments.
• Handle parcels safely, perform accurate scanning, and ensure correct documentation for each movement.
• Collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) payments and process proof‑of‑delivery (POD) compliance.
• Coordinate closely with the Shift In‑charge and branch operations team to resolve issues and optimise workflow.
• Follow all operational procedures, safety guidelines and Blue Dart standards.

Required profile

• Professional attitude with the ability to represent the Blue Dart brand.
• Strong focus on customer service and timely execution.
• Physical ability to handle shipments and work in shift environments.
• Good communication skills for interaction with customers and internal teams.
