Operations Manager – Salt Panning & Washery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end‑to‑end salt production at our Gandhidham facility. The role oversees salt panning, harvesting and washery operations, ensuring high quality, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete salt panning and harvesting processes, from planning to dispatch.
• Oversee salt washery operations, meeting quality and production targets.
• Plan and supervise harvesting schedules, production output and logistics.
• Lead large field teams and contractors, driving productivity and compliance.
• Monitor equipment maintenance, plant efficiency and operational costs.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental and statutory regulations.
• Prepare regular production reports and coordinate operational planning with senior management.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of leadership experience in the salt industry.
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale salt washery and production.
• Strong planning, operational management and team‑leadership abilities.
• Based in Gandhidham or nearby areas.
