Maintenance Electrician

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based at Venus Pipes and Tubes Limited in Gandhidham. The Maintenance Electrician will ensure reliable operation of production machinery, utilities and plant infrastructure through routine and corrective electrical work.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs on panels, motors, wiring and control systems.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and collaborate with production and maintenance teams.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• IT I or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing plant maintenance, preferably in metal or pipe/tube production.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work in shifts and as part of a diverse team.
