Operations Executive – Legal and Compliance

About the role

The Operations Executive – Legal & Compliance ensures that Make Your Own Perfume (MYOP) meets all statutory, licensing, and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with internal teams, government authorities, consultants, and vendors to keep the business running smoothly and avoid compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate, and finalize draft agreements with mall management, landlords, and other parties, safeguarding company interests.
• Manage agreement execution, renewals, amendments, and maintain organized, audit‑ready records of all legal documents.
• Apply for, obtain, renew, and maintain trade licenses, shop & establishment licenses, GST registration, legal metrology registration, and other statutory approvals.
• Monitor statutory and regulatory compliance, maintain trackers with expiry dates, and ensure timely renewals to prevent penalties.
• Coordinate with government offices, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders for approvals, inspections, and registrations.
• Prepare and maintain compliance reports, trackers, and statutory records for audits and internal reviews.

Required profile

• LLB degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal coordination, compliance management, licensing, or related administration.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Organized, proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of problem solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
